Float parade for Beauty Pageant Contestants

Ten beauty contestants vying to win the Ms Solomons title this afternoon, paraded around Honiara in their various floats.
The parade started from West Honiara, through to East Honiara (Ranadi) and headed back to Lawson Tama stadium, various activities are being held, including live performances by DMP, Jah Boy, Tia Dropz, Solo Icons One Sounds, and later in the evening the crowning of Miss Charity 2010.
Tomorrow, Saturday the 4th of September, will be the crowning of Miss Solomon Islands 2010 who will be representing the Solomon Islands at the Miss South Pacific Beauty Pageant, to be held in Papua New Guinea.
2009 Miss Solomon Islands finished in the top 5 in last years Miss South Pacific Beauty Pageant.
